Family History Help

  • 20th January 2018

Looking at starting or restarting family history the new year?

In January we often get people coming to us asking how to begin. For some they are looking at starting or restarting now that Christmas is over, whilst others may have been inspired by conversations and reflection over Christmas. We can see this here in The Hive with a rise in visitors, which is great to see.

We often get asked for advice on how to start because it can all seem overwhelming. Each year we run workshops to help people begin, based on many years of experience Many people want to trace their family tree but are not sure where to look or what the different information needs. We run several different workshops and introductions to help you get started.

We have a three part workshop that helps you start, which includes time each week to go online and help you begin your own family history research.
