Friends of Worcestershire Archives
The Friends of Worcestershire Archives are a charitable organisation who value and support Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service. They help us by:
- Raising funds to support the archives
- Providing volunteers
- Advocating on behalf of the service
- Hosting an annual programme of lectures and events
Donating to the Friends
The Friends fund specific projects, buy specialist equipment and purchase archives that would otherwise go into private hands as well as pay for repairs and conservation.
If you would like to support the work of the Friends, please contact them here or simply donate now.
A gift in your will
Leaving a bequest to Friends of Worcestershire Archives is one of the most valuable ways you can help to preserve and continue to make Worcestershire’s heritage accessible. Even a small consideration in your will can make a huge difference. All donations will support the work of the friends.

Adopt a document
Would you like to celebrate a person close to you or mark an important event? Pick a favourite item from our collections to adopt, or choose from our list of documents. There are options at different prices, but all ensure that your gift is recognised and the document is preserved for centuries to come.
History-inspired gifts
We have a small shop on Level 2 of The Hive in Worcester where all kinds of history-inspired gifts can be found. These include books on local subjects that can be difficult to find elsewhere, jewellery, pottery and seasonal items that make perfect gifts for history lovers. Please come and have a look.
